Okay so I wasn't even planning on starting a post for transitions today, but then I watched the first 3 seconds of THIS VIDEO (seen below) from Mrs. Noonan and I knew I had to jot this idea down for safe keeping. Super Scholar Style?!?! Awesome!
1. Word of the Day - Have a student select a word of the day (content based) during morning meeting. Students will transition throughout the day, every time the word is said. GREAT way to build vocabulary and get words to stick.
